Water Soluble Thread

We offer TWO options Water Soluble Thread.
YLI's "Wash-A-Way" and Signature's "Vanish Extra".

YLI Wash-A-Way Thread is available in a smaller quantity, and while more expensive, users report that a light misting will "break loose" basting, and sponging will also cause the thread to almost disappear! Thread must be kept in a zip lock bag to prevent deterioration. 100 Yards / spool (400 yds. per box).

SUPERIOR Vanish Extra is a slightly sturdier thread and users report that the item must actually be wetted more thoroughly to remove the stitching. It does totally vanish when washed - whether in hot or cold water. Far more economical than the YLI, we still recommend that you keep it in a zip lock bag, but it is not near as touchy! 1500 yard spool.
